Physiotherapy is a method of treatment that enables you to reach your body’s full potential in mobility, function, and well-being. Our therapists focus on hands-on treatment while also coaching patients on corrective exercises to combat the root causes identified in their assessment.

Nancy Bekhit received her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and is currently pursuing a specialty in Clinical Science. Passionate about evidence-based practice and patient-centred care, Nancy treats musculoskeletal pain using a multimodal approach that includes education, soft tissue therapy, manipulative therapy, and exercise. Whether experiencing acute or chronic pain in the back, neck, or extremities, she tailors treatment plans to help patients achieve their health goals.

Outside of clinic, you can find her at the school teaching or doing research, in hospital placements, at the gym, or somewhere by the lake!

Jessica is a Registered Massage Therapist and has been practicing for 6 years. She graduated from Oxford College in July 2017, in addition to Everest College as a Physiotherapist Assistant in 2010. She has worked in multidisciplinary clinics for the past 8 years and gained experience in rehabilitation treatments for pre and post surgical clients, sports related conditions, overuse injuries and motor-vehicle accidents. She also continuously educates her clients on the importance of daily movement and exercises to help improve their activities of day-to-day living.

During the duration of her career, Jessica caters her treatment with soft tissue techniques, trigger point therapy and rehabilitation exercises. She also has experience in practicing myofascial release, joint mobilization, temporal mandibular joint (TMJ) conditions, lymphatic drainage and pregnancy massages.

Jessica continues to pursue her passion to empower her clients and community, to feel better and ensure they are taking care of their body. In her spare time, she continues to live an active lifestyle and enjoys dancing and working out at the gym.

Soraia has over 10 year experience working in the fitness and health field. While working as a fitness trainer for youth athletes she wanted to do more for those experiencing pain and recovering from injury, so she decided to further her education and pursue a career in health care. She became an RMT in 2016 and has combined her knowledge and passion of exercise and movement in her treatments. Soraia is no stranger to the rehab process, having gone through 3 knee surgeries herself. She understands the importance of having a knowledgeable and caring therapist, who truly understands your needs. She strives to provide well-rounded treatments, taking a patient-centred and individualized approach to help you reach your goals.

Geoffrey Malana is a highly experienced and skilled registered massage therapist and personal trainer, with over a decade of experience in massage therapy and 15 years in personal training.

Geoffrey is passionate about helping his clients recover from injury and dysfunction and is known for his expertise in utilizing a range of manual therapy techniques such as Functional Range Release, MIPA work, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy, combined with corrective exercises.

Geoffrey’s passion for helping others began early in his life. He discovered his love for fitness and helping others achieve their goals while working as a personal trainer during his college years. After earning a degree in Chemistry and certification in personal training, he pursued further education and training in massage therapy, which allowed him to broaden his scope of practice and help clients recover from injuries and dysfunction.

In his practice, Geoffrey takes a client-centered approach, working closely with each individual to develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses their unique needs and goals. He believes that a combination of manual therapy techniques and corrective exercises is the key to achieving long-term health and wellness.

Paulo is a Registered Massage Therapist with a passion to educate patients on a healthy and active lifestyle, and its role on the human body. His primary focus during his treatments is to understand one’s goals, in order to create a patient specific program.

He understands the importance of a thorough assessment to establish a rehabilitative program that complements his treatment methods. Paulo incorporates manual therapy, in addition to prescribing corrective exercises to get you moving.

After having experience in sports and physical activity, Paulo is able to connect what restrictions the body may encounter during these events.

He is continuously learning ways to grow by taking continuing educational courses throughout the world.

Meghan earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from MCPHS University in Worcester, Massachusetts. Previously, she completed her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from the University at Buffalo. Throughout her 4 years at UB, Meghan played Division I soccer for the Bulls; competing in the Mid-American Conference.

After completing her education, Meghan went on to work in private orthopedic practice in the U.S; primarily treating musculoskeletal and sport-related injuries. During this time, she also completed her Foundations in Dry Needling for Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Sport Performance training as well as multiple other sport rehab courses.

As a clinician, Meghan looks forward to further developing her skills and broadening her knowledge base. With her athletic background, Meghan has been able to draw on her experiences to assist in her approach to rehabilitation. Meghan takes pride in helping her patients achieve their goals of getting back to the things that matter most to them, no matter how big or small.

Alex Tymoshenko is a chiropractor who completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at New York Chiropractic College. Sport and activity have always been a part of his life. From hockey and Ukrainian dancing as a kid, to MMA and Olympic weightlifting later in life he has always been semi competitive. As an Olympic weightlifter, he has competed at the national level and coached athletes to both national and international competitions. With this training, he has experienced inevitable strains and overuse injuries. Luckily, he has always had a chiropractor in his corner to help him - that chiropractor was his father. It was building the resilience to get through injuries and becoming stronger that helped him realize he aspired to be a chiropractor.
